No liberty wanted by Illini's Marcus

Marcus Liberty says he does not want his freedom from Illinoiseven though he is ineligible to play this season.

Liberty will have to sit out his freshman season beause hefailed to score high enough on the ACT test under NCAA Proposition48. He would have been eligible immediately at a junior college.

"I'm not going to change because I didn't make the test," the6-8 former King star said. "The school I picked is the school I wantand I'm going to leave it at that.

"I know it will be hard but I'll do my work and get my mind onit. Life will still go on."
