ALBANY When a million black men march on Washington, D.C., Steve Bowden, 45, will be there.
So will Shawn Benjamin, aged 24.
It's something that we feel we need to do,'' said Bowden, an Arbor Hill resident. ``It's going to have an impact on all black men and the African-American race.''
Bowden and Benjamin joined about 80 people at a town meeting at the Arbor Hill Community Center Monday to hear details of the Million Man March set for Oct. 16.
More than 500 local residents are expected to join the day of spiritual, political and economic unity. Simultaneous marches are planned in Ghana, …
